Scholarship Opportunity

Eligibility:

• Open to all High School Seniors
• Who live within the boundaries of the Worthington School District
• Who will attend college in the 2008-2009 school year

The Healthy Worthington Coalition is offering two $500.00 scholarships to eligible seniors living in the Worthington School District.  Winners will be notified by May and scholarships will be paid directly to the college of choice.

Deadline:    Submissions must be postmarked by April 10, 2008

To be considered, submit an essay (500 word maximum) that incorporates your thoughts on the following questions:

• “Why is it important to promote Health and Wellness in a community?
• How have you personally demonstrated the importance of Health and Wellness in your life?”
• Are you interested in a Health Related Field of study, if so why?
